From July 25th to 26th, Fuping County in Baoding City, Hebei Province, was ravaged by unprecedented rainfall, recording an average precipitation of 140.5 millimeters, a peak single-station rainfall of 532 millimeters, and a staggering maximum hourly rainfall intensity of 145 millimeters, all surpassing historical records. By 18:00 on the 26th, the deluge had impacted 46,235 individuals across six townships in the county, resulting in two fatalities and two individuals still missing.
