On September 22, CSSC Power Group, a subsidiary under the umbrella of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, proudly presented China's inaugural self-developed 6MW-class nuclear emergency diesel generator unit, aptly named 'Nuclear Diesel One'. Concurrently, the Hudong Heavy Machinery Nuclear Power Service Center, operating under CSSC Power Group, was also officially launched. This significant milestone signifies that China has now fully acquired the core technological prowess for this category of units, effectively bridging the gap in the localization of high-capacity emergency power solutions tailored for the nuclear power sector.
