On December 25th, news emerged that CATL and Sieyuan Electric had recently signed a three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster their cooperation in the energy storage sector, targeting a collaborative capacity of 50GWh. In this partnership, both entities will capitalize on their individual strengths to advance a market-driven dual-procurement approach for energy storage solutions. This strategy is designed to optimize the efficiency of the industrial supply chain and collectively foster the high-caliber growth of the energy storage industry. This collaboration marks a significant escalation of their strategic alliance since 2022, with a shared vision to expedite the widespread adoption of energy storage systems within emerging power networks.
