On December 23, prior to the opening of the U.S. stock market, the performance of major tech stocks presented a mixed picture. Tesla saw a 0.31% uptick, Microsoft rose by 0.14%, Netflix increased by 0.1%, and Meta edged up by 0.05%. In contrast, Nvidia experienced a 0.48% drop, Amazon declined by 0.1%, Apple dipped by 0.06%, and Google fell by 0.05%. By the end of the trading day, all three of the main U.S. stock indices had risen collectively. The S&P 500 index climbed 0.64%, the Nasdaq index rose 0.52%, and the Dow Jones index advanced 0.47%. Among the major tech stocks, Tesla and Nvidia surged by more than 1%. Meanwhile, Google, Amazon, and Meta posted modest gains. On the flip side, Intel and Netflix slumped by more than 1%, while Apple and Microsoft saw slight decreases.
