China Mobile and Huawei Successfully Deploy World's First Intelligent Beam Tracking Unit in Shenzhen

Huawei and China Mobile have jointly unveiled the Intelligent Beam Tracking Unit (BTU), showcasing three core competencies: real-time visual zero error, real-time perceivable zero error, and real-time adjustable zero wait. This innovative technology paves the way for the transformation of conventional base stations into an end-to-end (E2E) intelligent beam tracking system. This system enables real-time monitoring of network traffic and user distribution, facilitating dynamic self-optimization. The pilot project in Shenzhen demonstrated remarkable results, with average daily traffic per station soaring to 457.2GB, representing an increase of over 60% in certain areas, while maintaining stable network key performance indicators (KPIs).
