Data center operator Firmus (backed by NVIDIA) has announced plans to build an AI data center campus on Indonesia's Batam Island, with a project agreement value of up to $30 billion over the first six years. Australian company Firmus has reached an eight-year cooperation agreement with NVIDIA to construct a dedicated NVIDIA DSX AI factory campus with an installed capacity of 360 megawatts. Batam Island is located across the sea from Singapore. Firmus stated that it will collaborate with Singapore's DayOne to develop this large-scale data center project.
