On June 29, foreign media reported that South Korea plans to build 18.4 GW of AI data centers by 2035. In the first phase, SK Group, GS Group, and Naver will invest 550 trillion Korean won to build 8.4 GW of AI data centers by 2029. In the second phase, SK Group plans to increase the capacity of its AI data centers from 5 GW to 15 GW by 2035.
