The GEM Index and the STAR 50 Index both experienced a significant drop, each declining by more than 1%. In contrast, the Shanghai Composite Index managed a slight uptick of 0.16%, while the Shenzhen Component Index saw a decrease of 0.43%. The sectors that were hardest hit included semiconductor chips, liquid-cooled servers, and consumer electronics. Across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock markets, over 2,200 stocks ended up in negative territory.
