On April 16, 2026 (local time), Intel officially launched its Core 3 series of budget-friendly mobile processors, codenamed ‘Wildcat Lake’. Developed using the advanced 18A process node, this lineup is positioned below the higher-tier Core Ultra 3 series ‘Panther Lake’ chips that debuted earlier in the year. The Wildcat Lake series features a 6-core architecture, comprising 2 performance cores and 4 energy-efficient cores. It also integrates 2 Xe3 iGPU units and an NPU with a computing power of 18 TOPS. Memory support includes LPDDR5x-7467 and DDR5-6400, making it ideal for low-power applications such as entry-level Windows ultrabooks, Chromebooks, and embedded systems. Notably, the Core 5 320 and Core 3 310 have already surfaced in benchmark databases, with the Core 3 310 achieving a score of 1,375 points in CrossMark under a single-channel 8GB memory setup.
