On April 16th, Beijing time, Bloomberg reported that Musk's deputy has engaged with suppliers in the chip industry, including Applied Materials, Tokyo Electron, and Lam Research, regarding his super chip factory project, Terafab, to prepare equipment for the project. Previously, Musk has requested quotes from multiple suppliers, demanding the swift delivery of chip manufacturing equipment. Intel has announced its participation in the Terafab project, contributing to the goal of achieving an annual computing capacity of 1 terawatt. The factory, jointly operated by Tesla and SpaceX, aims to manufacture chips for robotics, artificial intelligence, and space data centers.
