Recently, Keysight Technologies has rolled out its latest Infiniium XR8 real-time oscilloscope platform, which shatters the limitations of high-speed digital testing with its innovative software and hardware architecture. The platform is outfitted with a native 12-bit high-precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC), dramatically enhancing the discrete resolution of signal amplitude and substantially minimizing system noise and jitter. Simultaneously, the XR8 offers a range of bandwidth options, boasting a maximum real-time sampling rate of 128 GSa/s, thus fulfilling the demands for uninterrupted capture of lengthy sequences of high-speed signals.

On the software front, the XR8 is integrated with the Infiniium 2026 platform, delivering one-click compliance test suites, along with open scripting interfaces and command recording capabilities, to cater to bespoke and automated testing requirements. Moreover, the XR8 showcases a compact design, which not only reduces power consumption and noise but also boosts flexibility for laboratory deployment. Keysight Technologies has also declared its intention to embark on a sweeping upgrade of its three primary measurement instruments—oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers—to forge a cutting-edge hardware platform that aligns seamlessly with next-generation AI technologies.
