Insider sources have disclosed that Xiaomi's second-generation self-developed system on a chip (SoC), the Xuanjie O2, is poised to leverage TSMC's N3P process. This cutting-edge chip is expected to make its debut in tablets before being rolled out to other "non-smartphone" devices, including automobiles and computers. Earlier, in May 2025, Xiaomi unveiled its self-developed mobile phone SoC, the Xuanjie O1. Built on a second-generation 3nm process, this chip boasts a ten-core, four-cluster CPU architecture, delivering top-tier performance. Its AnTuTu benchmark score soars above 3 million, while its GPU performance outpaces Apple's A18 Pro, all while consuming less power. Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, previously announced that by 2026, the company aims to seamlessly integrate self-developed chips, an in-house operating system, and a proprietary AI large model into a unified terminal.
