Recently, at IC China 2025 (the China International Semiconductor Expo), ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) made an official announcement, showcasing its latest DDR5 and LPDDR5X offerings. The DDR5 series boasts a remarkable maximum speed of 8000Mbps and a substantial maximum die capacity of 24Gb. Alongside this, CXMT has rolled out seven distinct module products that cater to a wide array of applications, spanning servers, workstations, and personal computers. These modules include UDIMM, SODIMM, CUDIMM, CSODIMM, RDIMM, MRDIMM, and TFF MRDIMM, effectively meeting the high-end market demands across diverse sectors.
The LPDDR5X product series, on the other hand, achieves an impressive maximum speed of 10667Mbps and a maximum die capacity of 16Gb. It offers a variety of packaging solutions, with capacities such as 12GB, 16GB, 24GB, and 32GB, providing flexibility and choice for different usage scenarios.
CXMT's two major product series stand out as top performers in the industry, excelling in both speed and capacity. This achievement signifies that CXMT's product performance and portfolio have now fully reached global mainstream high-end standards. Moreover, it highlights the fact that domestic memory chips have the potential and capability to compete on an equal footing with leading international manufacturers.
