On November 20, China's Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao, was invited to participate in a video conference with the UK's Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Peter Kyle. During the meeting, they engaged in a thorough exchange of perspectives concerning the Nexperia semiconductor situation. Minister Wang Wentao emphasized that the Dutch authorities bear responsibility in this regard. He noted that the Dutch side's decision to suspend the administrative order represents a positive move and expressed the hope that they would promptly take action to re-establish stability in the global semiconductor production and supply chain. Secretary Kyle conveyed his openness to engaging in dialogue with the Dutch side in order to collectively facilitate a resolution to the issue.
