The Dutch semiconductor giant Nexperia has just released another official statement, revealing that it has halted wafer shipments to its Chinese subsidiary plant, citing the plant's failure to settle outstanding payments. According to Nexperia, the company has lost visibility into the delivery schedules and conditions of products originating from the Chinese facility. Due to the absence of transparency and proper oversight in the production operations, Nexperia emphasized that, effective from October 13, it can no longer ensure the protection of intellectual property rights, adherence to technological standards, product authenticity, and overall quality for items supplied by the Chinese plant.
