These efforts are crucial for ensuring a steady supply of essential mature-process chips to the global market. Nexperia is eager to receive prompt clarification on the precise conditions, criteria, and processes for the relaxation of export restrictions.

Previously, Nexperia China's decision not to pay for wafers led to a temporary suspension of direct wafer supplies to its factories. However, it's important to note that wafer shipments were not entirely discontinued. Meanwhile, Nexperia's production facilities in other parts of Europe and Asia are maintaining normal operations.

Furthermore, Nexperia categorically denied rumors regarding Zhang Xuezheng's potential reinstatement as CEO. The company clarified that strategic decisions, including business relocations or executive dismissals, are subject to approval from the Dutch government. These processes are expected to continue for a duration of one year.
