NVIDIA is set to take on the role of a founding member in a $2 billion investment consortium, aiming to support and mentor budding deep tech startups in India. This move is part of NVIDIA's strategy to strengthen its foothold in the world's third-largest startup ecosystem. The American semiconductor powerhouse has joined forces with the Indian Deep Tech Alliance (IDTA), a group comprising private equity and venture capital investors who have pledged to invest $2 billion in the deep tech sector. Deep tech startups represent cutting-edge industries, including semiconductors, space exploration, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, and energy.
