Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 processors are set to incorporate TSMC's more sophisticated N2P process node. This strategic move is aimed at outpacing their primary rival, Apple, in terms of manufacturing technology prowess. TSMC's upcoming 2nm process technology encompasses two distinct variants: the standard N2 and its enhanced counterpart, N2P. Earlier reports had suggested that Apple's A20 and A20 Pro chips would be built using the N2 process.
