According to a report by Taiwan's Economic Daily News on November 4, 2025, the supply-demand imbalance for memory chips persists. Memory back-end packaging and testing manufacturers such as Powertech Technology, ChipMOS Technologies, and Hua Thai Precision have received additional orders from major clients. Several manufacturers plan to raise prices, with increases varying by product line and customer, ranging from high single-digit to double-digit percentage points. The price hikes are expected to commence gradually from the end of this year to next year.
