Sunwoda has announced the successful development of its first-generation semi-solid-state battery, boasting an impressive energy density exceeding 300Wh/kg. The prototype for the second-generation semi-solid-state battery cells has now advanced to the pilot production phase. Meanwhile, the third-generation all-solid-state battery has reached a significant milestone, completing both the 400Wh/kg product plan and the rigorous process validation. Looking ahead to 2025, the company anticipates a substantial increase in power battery shipments. This growth is projected to be driven by a combination of factors, including heightened demand from existing customers, the scaling up of operations with newly designated customers, and a notable uptick in energy storage cell shipments. Furthermore, Sunwoda has confirmed the viability of mass-producing semi-solid-state technology for consumer batteries, with these innovative products already enjoying widespread adoption in the consumer electronics market.
