On April 22, Douyin Lifestyle Services rolled out its 'Douyin Lifestyle Services AIGC Content Creation Guidelines.' These guidelines mandate that content creators must clearly indicate when their posts are generated by AI, thereby safeguarding consumers' right to transparent information. The guidelines underscore the importance of respecting individuals' personality rights and intellectual property rights, ensuring the authenticity of product and service details, and fostering a positive content environment. The platform will take measures to regulate non-compliant marketing content disseminated through AIGC technology. In the first quarter of this year alone, the platform addressed over 800,000 instances of non-compliant AIGC promotional content and 184 cases of AI-related copyright violations.
