On April 22, the General Office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government unveiled the "Action Plan for Accelerating the High-Level Integration of Artificial Intelligence Across Diverse Domains, Eras, and Industries in Guangdong Province." This initiative promotes collaborative efforts between industrial enterprises and AI firms to forge an innovation ecosystem that seamlessly integrates production, education, research, and application, particularly focusing on critical areas such as satellite-rocket manufacturing and ground facility development. The goal is to expedite the research and development of cutting-edge satellite platforms, payloads, and space computing technologies, while also coordinating the construction of ground facilities to facilitate cost-effective, large-scale production of satellite-rocket products. Furthermore, the plan harnesses AI to refine R&D design, flight simulation, solution iteration, and final assembly testing procedures, fostering standardization in the civil and commercial aerospace sectors, broadening satellite applications, and boosting overall development efficiency.
