Gong Yu, founder and CEO of iQIYI, penned an in-depth article examining the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the film and television sector. He stressed that technological advancements should remain human-centered, with AI serving as a tool to benefit both audiences and content creators while alleviating creators' burdens. Recently, iQIYI’s ‘AI Talent Pool’ initiative has drawn considerable attention. In response, the company clarified via its official Weibo account that this talent pool is intended to establish a standardized platform for creators working with AI-generated content (AIGC). While those included in the pool have expressed their willingness to engage in AI-driven film and television projects, specific collaborations will still require individual negotiations and formal authorization.
