The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises recently hosted a signing ceremony for a new cohort of key enterprises, with Financial Secretary Paul Chan in attendance. During the event, Didi formally inked the agreement, securing its position as one of the newly designated key enterprises. This round of collaboration encompassed a total of 22 enterprises spanning diverse sectors, including artificial intelligence, life and health sciences, and advanced energy materials.

Hu Cheng, Vice President of Didi, emphasized that Hong Kong holds significant strategic importance for Didi’s business operations. He noted that this agreement not only marks a pivotal moment for the company to accelerate its growth trajectory in Hong Kong but also reinforces its commitment to deepening its engagement—or, as translated in context, “deepening its presence”—within the local market.
