On a brighter note, ByteDance's overseas revenue for 2025 experienced a nearly 50% growth. The proportion of revenue generated from its overseas operations rose to over 30%. Moreover, the Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) of TikTok Shop soared by almost 70% year-on-year, acting as the primary catalyst for the overseas revenue growth.
