On the morning of March 31, 2026, Apple unveiled the Chinese domestic version of its Apple Intelligence Beta. This iteration boasted an array of innovative features, including real-time translation, AI-powered photo object removal, the Tu Leyuan App (which enables users to generate memes), and visual recognition (activated by long-pressing the camera button), among others. To access these cutting-edge functionalities, users were required to possess a Chinese domestic Apple device, log in with a Chinese Apple ID, and ensure their system was updated to iOS 26.4 or a later version.

However, the launch of this version was short-lived. Due to certain software-related issues, Apple was compelled to withdraw it from the market. The company has since announced that these issues have been duly addressed. Moving forward, the relaunch timeline for the Chinese domestic version will hinge on obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
