Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen has officially launched the Qwen 3.5 series of mid-sized models, comprising Qwen3.5-Flash, Qwen3.5-35B-A3B, Qwen3.5-122B-A10B, and Qwen3.5-27B. These new models not only boost intelligence but also reduce computational demands. Impressively, the Qwen3.5-35B-A3B model surpasses the performance of certain older models, underscoring the pivotal role of architectural design and other factors in driving intelligence advancements. The Qwen3.5-122B-A10B and 27B variants significantly narrow the performance gap between mid-sized and state-of-the-art models, excelling particularly in handling complex agent tasks. Additionally, Qwen3.5-Flash, a streamlined production-ready version based on the 35B-A3B model, supports an extensive context length of up to 1 million tokens and comes equipped with a built-in official toolset.
