The General Office of the Hainan Provincial People's Government has unveiled the 'Action Plan for Accelerating Artificial Intelligence Plus Initiatives in Hainan Province (2026-2028)'. This strategic blueprint aims to propel the demonstration and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across various facets of the aerospace industry. Key areas of focus encompass launch safety management, intelligent processing of satellite data, and AI-driven inspections in aerospace manufacturing, all geared towards fostering a vibrant ecosystem for the commercial aerospace sector's growth and innovation.
Simultaneously, the plan underscores the importance of crafting diverse AI applications within the maritime domain. These include intelligent marine environment forecasting, marine disaster prevention and response, marine resource exploration and assessment, as well as the intelligent operation and upkeep of maritime equipment. Such initiatives are poised to bolster China's national agenda of becoming a formidable maritime power.
Furthermore, the province envisions the establishment of a comprehensive, province-wide intelligent networking infrastructure for low-altitude operations. This move seeks to deepen the fusion of AI technologies with the low-altitude industry, with a particular emphasis on cultivating unique scenarios like low-altitude logistics, marine surveillance, tourism, and emergency rescue services. The ultimate goal is to forge a burgeoning low-altitude economic sector that is secure, controllable, efficient, collaborative, intelligent, and user-friendly.
