Today, Lenovo Group unveiled its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025/26. According to the report, the company witnessed a remarkable 72% year-on-year surge in revenue from its AI-centric business segment during this quarter. This surge propelled AI-related revenue to constitute 32% of the company's total earnings. Notably, significant growth was observed across various sectors, including AI PCs, smartphones, servers, and service offerings. Within the infrastructure business realm, ISG's revenue soared to RMB 36.7 billion, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of over 31%. This growth was particularly pronounced in the artificial intelligence infrastructure and Poseidon liquid cooling solutions sectors.
During the ensuing interactive session, Yang Yuanqing, the Chairman and CEO of Lenovo Group, delved into the topic of partnership collaborations. He revealed that the scale of cooperation with numerous vendors has escalated to the billions or even tens of billions of U.S. dollars range. Illustratively, the business collaboration with NVIDIA has witnessed a fourfold expansion over the past three to four years, with Lenovo setting its sights on quadrupling this scale once again in the foreseeable future. Furthermore, Yang Yuanqing shared his insights on the prevailing AI computing architecture. He proposed that, to facilitate widespread and inclusive AI adoption, the ratio of training to inference demands should ideally evolve to 2:8 in the coming times.
