On the 24th, the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone witnessed the official launch of the world's first brain-inspired intelligent computing system, 'BI Explorer' (abbreviated as BIE-1). This innovative device, co-developed by two incubated enterprises, packs supercomputing prowess into a compact, portable form factor akin to a mini-fridge.

Thanks to its highly integrated design, it can be effortlessly deployed in various environments, including residential settings. It boasts the benefits of low power consumption and minimal noise generation. At the heart of this system lies a self-developed Intuitive Neural Network (INN) brain-inspired algorithm, which enables it to swiftly and efficiently execute a wide range of model training and inference tasks. Beyond its rapid operational speed, the system also cuts down on hardware expenses and energy usage, all while enhancing accuracy.
