Recently, Guangzhou XPENG Motors Technology Co., Ltd. has been awarded a patent for its "Control Method, Electronic Device, and Storage Medium for Bipedal Robots." Here's how this innovative method works: Upon receiving a stepping command, the system calculates the stepping trajectory for the bipedal robot. This trajectory outlines the path that the robot's swinging foot must follow to transition from its current position to the target position.

Next, the robot's body is guided to shift along a primary direction to reach an initial moving position. This primary direction is determined relative to the position of the supporting foot compared to the swinging foot. The system takes into account the robot's current center-of-gravity position and the supporting foot's location to execute this movement accurately.

Finally, leveraging the stepping trajectory and the initial moving position, the robot's body is directed to move along a secondary direction to a final moving position. This secondary direction corresponds to the movement direction of the swinging foot as specified in the stepping trajectory.
