On September 26, Alphabet's Google has requested the U.S. Supreme Court to suspend a lower court's order. This order requires Google to comprehensively reform its app store policies in the antitrust lawsuit filed by Epic Games. In a document submitted to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, Google stated that the order will take effect on October 22 and hopes to suspend its implementation while seeking Supreme Court review. Google claims that if the implementation is not postponed, the company and its Android ecosystem will suffer irreparable harm.
