On the 16th, during a sub-forum of the National Cybersecurity Promotion Week, the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with other relevant departments, jointly unveiled the "Report on Talent Development in the Cybersecurity Industry in the AI Era (2025)". The report highlights that the global shortage of cybersecurity professionals is projected to soar to 4.8 million by 2025, marking a 19% year-over-year surge. Notably, positions in cybersecurity operations have claimed the top spot for three consecutive years, constituting 26.8% of the total demand. Companies are increasingly favoring candidates with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience and practical skills, with 28.2% of job openings specifying this experience level. Furthermore, the demand for work experience and practical skills stands at 76.2% and 72.2%, respectively, underscoring the industry's emphasis on real-world expertise.
