Dongfeng Motor Corporation released an announcement on May 8, revealing that sales of new energy vehicles plummeted by 35.95% year-on-year in April 2025, reaching 3,890 units. Additionally, the company saw declines in commercial vehicle sales, with light truck sales dipping 12.74% to 13,476 units, bus sales falling 41.09% to 383 units, and incomplete bus sales decreasing 21% to 177 units. Conversely, Dongfeng Cummins engine sales experienced an uptick, increasing by 4.7% year-on-year to 19,441 units.
