Xiaomi's second-phase intelligent manufacturing industrial base project, colloquially known as Xiaomi's second auto plant, successfully passed its planning acceptance yesterday. Situated in Majuqiao Town, Tongzhou District, Beijing, this project is spearheaded by Xiaomi Jingxi Technology Co., Ltd. and neighbors the first-phase plant to the east. The project encompasses a total area of 531,130 square meters, with a construction area spanning approximately 400,000 square meters. Anticipated to wrap up by mid-June, production is slated to commence in July, with a possible extension to August. Xiaomi's annual automotive production capacity is poised to exceed 300,000 units, with an ambitious full-year delivery target of 350,000 vehicles.
