The HarmonyOS Smart Mobility new product launch event took place in Shanghai, marking the official debut of the collaborative brand, Shangjie, between SAIC Motor and Huawei. Jia Jianxu, General Manager of SAIC Motor, disclosed that an extensive team of over 5,000 personnel has been assembled for this ambitious project, which has received an initial investment of up to 6 billion yuan. Furthermore, a specialized super factory has been constructed to support this endeavor. The first model under the Shangjie brand is anticipated to be released in autumn.
