On April 15, XPeng Motors announced that its AI robot, Iron, will commence industrial mass production at its Guangzhou facility in China in 2026, with practical training already underway at the site. Standing at 178 centimeters tall and weighing 70 kilograms, Iron boasts 62 active degrees of freedom and 22 movable degrees of freedom, adopting a lifelike 1:1 bionic design. In terms of intelligence, Iron is equipped with XPeng's proprietary Turing AI chip, boasting a formidable 3000T computing power, and a comprehensive 720° Eagle Eye vision system, allowing for seamless and agile movement.
