On April 15, Shao Mingfeng, Chief Business Officer and General Manager of Sales at RDI Automobile, took to social media to announce the upcoming launch of a groundbreaking new motor technology at the technology conference on the 16th. Shao Mingfeng emphasized that this innovation promises to redefine the technological landscape of electric vehicles. The new motor, boasting a "world-first" technology, delivers an impressive maximum output torque of 2720 Nm. Shao Mingfeng further noted that while axial flux motors are currently confined to applications in intelligent robots, supercar concept vehicles, and luxury electric aircraft, RDI's novel motor has advanced to the pre-mass production stage.
