On April 11, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released data revealing a steady growth in China's automotive market during the first quarter of this year. Total production and sales amounted to 7.561 million and 7.47 million units, respectively, marking increases of 14.5% and 11.2% year-on-year. In March alone, monthly production reached 3.006 million units, up 42.9% from the previous month and 11.9% year-on-year, while sales stood at 2.915 million units, reflecting a 37% month-on-month increase and an 8.2% year-on-year growth. Notably, the new energy vehicle market shone brightly, achieving production and sales figures of 3.182 million and 3.075 million units, respectively, in the first quarter.
