On April 11, in response to the speculation that "CATL will acquire NIO's battery swap stations," NIO Chairman Li Bin promptly addressed the issue within the owner community. He urged, "Do not believe or spread rumors," without elaborating further. For its part, CATL confirmed that there is "currently no further information" on the matter.
