On April 11, Tesla China's official website underwent an update, removing the option to place new orders for the Model S and Model X. Instead, customers are now presented with a "View Available Cars" button, indicating that these models are currently available only as inventory vehicles. Meanwhile, the Model Y and Model 3 remain available for immediate ordering. This adjustment signifies that Tesla China is temporarily focusing on selling existing stock for the Model S and Model X. Addressing concerns, the Vice President of Tesla Automotive Engineering assured that the Model S and Model X are not being discontinued and will undergo technological enhancements in the future.
