On April 3, the China Passenger Car Association released data indicating that Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory had delivered an impressive total of over 172,000 Model 3 and newly updated Model Y vehicles in the first quarter of 2025. Notably, domestic sales accounted for 137,200 units, marking a new high for the first quarter since 2022. Additionally, Tesla's global production and delivery report on the same day revealed that its energy storage product installations had reached 10.4 GWh, representing a substantial year-on-year increase of 157%.
