On October 21, Xin Guobin, the Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, announced that China's intelligent connected vehicle sector has made notable progress at its current development stage. Moving forward, the Ministry will foster deeper cross-sectoral cooperation and integration, steadily and systematically broaden the application scenarios for intelligent connected vehicles. It will also cautiously push forward pilot initiatives for market entry and road testing of such vehicles, and expedite large-scale demonstrations in key autonomous driving scenarios.
