Momenta has forged a partnership with JAECOO, a subsidiary of Chery Automobile, to successfully carry out an autonomous driving test around the iconic Arc de Triomphe roundabout, all without any human intervention. The test vehicle, a JAECOO 7, was outfitted with Momenta's cutting-edge R7 world model, and it adeptly maneuvered through 11.38 kilometers of intricate road conditions. At present, the model is still undergoing rigorous testing and verification processes and has not yet been officially rolled out to the European market. Meanwhile, the JAECOO brand is experiencing steady growth in Europe, with OMODA&JAECOO having set up R&D centers across Spain, France, and Germany. Leveraging the R7 world model and integrating it with local European traffic data, Momenta is able to tailor its technology to comply with local traffic regulations and accommodate European driving habits.
