On October 15, Xpeng unveiled the MONA L05, the inaugural large five-seater SUV in its MONA series, opening it up for pre-orders at a starting price of RMB 169,800. The MONA L05 is powered by Xpeng's cutting-edge second-generation VLA model, Turring. This advanced system can handle an effective sequence of instructions lasting up to 30 seconds, accurately predict driving scenarios for the next 6 seconds, boost end-to-end response speeds by 300%, and elevate multi-dimensional safety capabilities by a factor of 20.
The new SUV offers consumers a choice between two powertrains: pure electric and super extended-range, encompassing a total of five distinct versions. The pre-order price range spans from RMB 169,800 to RMB 191,800, with the official market launch slated for October 29.
