On July 17, the First Department of the Equipment Industry Division under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology convened a symposium with leading automotive manufacturers. The purpose of this gathering was to strategize and implement oversight and inspection measures for automotive manufacturing enterprises and their product offerings. During the meeting, there was a strong emphasis on the necessity to bolster safety evaluations for integrated driving assistance and autonomous driving technologies. This initiative aims to elevate the capabilities of enterprises in ensuring functional safety, cybersecurity, and data protection, while also refining the mechanisms for monitoring and responding to safety-related incidents, aligning with international best practices and regulatory standards.
