Dr. James Peng, the Chairman and CEO of Pony.ai, highlighted that the company's operations both domestically and internationally had seen steady growth in the first quarter. Notably, the revenue generated from passenger fares for autonomous driving ride services soared to over five times the amount recorded during the same period the previous year. Building on this momentum, Pony.ai has revised its 2026 objectives upwards. The company now anticipates that by the end of the year, its fleet of autonomous taxis will surpass 3,500 units, spanning more than 20 cities across the globe. Furthermore, it expects the revenue from its autonomous driving ride services to exceed 3.5 times the level achieved in 2025.
