SAIC Volkswagen has officially disclosed the exterior visuals of the ID. ERA 5S, marking the brand's debut global sedan that embraces urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) capabilities. This innovative model is outfitted with the sophisticated 'Xingyun Intelligent Driving' and 'Yunqi Intelligent Cockpit' systems. Based on the data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the car measures 4836mm in length, 1880mm in width, and 1505mm in height, with a wheelbase extending to 2766mm. It is propelled by a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Fu Qiang, the Executive Deputy General Manager overseeing Sales and Marketing at SAIC Volkswagen, emphasized that this particular model signifies Volkswagen's inaugural foray into the realm of plug-in hybrid intelligent family sedans. He further highlighted that its intelligence quotient places it at the forefront of the industry's echelon. In a related development, SAIC Audi E7X has also recently embarked on its pre-sale journey, boasting five distinct configuration variants with price tags spanning from 289,800 to 379,800 yuan.
