On May 7th, Lexus officially revealed the detailed specifications of its latest all-electric three-row SUV, the TZ. This new model impresses with its generous body length of 5.1 meters and a wheelbase spanning 3.05 meters, ensuring an outstanding spatial arrangement.
When it comes to the chassis, the TZ features the DIRECT 4 electronic dynamic all-wheel-drive system. This is complemented by a high-rigidity, lightweight body structure and a suspension setup that combines a MacPherson strut at the front with a multi-link configuration at the rear. Such a combination significantly enhances both handling precision and ride comfort.
From a design perspective, the TZ adheres to the 'Integrated Spindle' philosophy. Inside, the vehicle emphasizes eco-friendliness and a sense of quality, incorporating bamboo accent panels, recycled aluminum, and bio-based materials.
Furthermore, the TZ introduces innovative features such as a new rear-seat comfort mode and an interactive manual driving mode, greatly enriching the overall driving and riding experience.
In terms of its core electric system, the TZ is equipped with a power battery pack boasting a capacity of 95.82kWh. This setup delivers a comprehensive maximum system power output of 300 kilowatts, with both the front and rear motors contributing 167 kilowatts of driving power each, ensuring robust power reserves.
