He Xiaopeng, Chairman of Xpeng Motors, proudly declared that the brand-new Xpeng P7 has not only taken on the challenge but also clinched a Guinness World Record, achieving an astounding 73.594 kilometers of uninterrupted drifting. This feat establishes a fresh benchmark for the longest drifting distance on a wet road surface among electric vehicles. He Xiaopeng emphasized that this accomplishment was a stringent assessment of the new car's chassis tuning and its core three-electric (battery, motor, and electronic control) technologies.
The founder of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, also shared this news to extend his congratulations. The all-new Xpeng P7, which was unveiled in August of the previous year, is positioned as a futuristic AI luxury coupe, with four distinct models introduced. The vehicle makes its global debut equipped with AES specifically designed for wet road conditions, showcasing exceptional performance in extreme tests on surfaces with low traction. It is adept at navigating through extreme hazards encountered in wet and icy environments.
